The intervention program is staffed by Mrs. Rhoads and Mrs. DiStefano. The purpose of our program is to provide academic support for students in grades 3-6. Services are offered to anyone who requests or requires the extra help. This support includes tutoring, help with homework, study aids(flash cards, etc.), and make up work sessions. Some third graders will be part of the Title 1 program for reading this year. Intervention help will also be available to non-Title students for reading. Our schedule varies based on the needs of the students. We go into some reading/math classrooms and sometimes we meet with individuals or small groups. Some groups have a scheduled meeting time and some individuals/groups come on an as needed basis. We can be reached at 764-6006, ext. 126. |
